What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The West

Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.

So I was watching that video (which I love by the way) when I notice Charlie goes to the candy mountain is playing in the background. That just made the video that much better to me....

PS- I redid my layout (obviously) and my favorite part is that raccoon.... eeeeeeexcellent

it's about time...

So I've lived in the house I'm in for a little over a year now, and today I finally unpacked.

I've been mostly unpacked for a while now, but for the most part I don't have a problem living out of boxes or suitcases or anything.... I didn't have a dresser for a long time so my clothes were just in boxes and I figured when I got a dresser I'd put my clothes away and be done with it all. I finally got a dresser a week or two ago (thanks mom) and got my stuff all put together. Looking around the room all I need now is a bookshelf. I went online and looked at those- they're crazy expensive. Totally not worth it.... anyone know what those cube things in mom and Samara's closest are called? they seem good enough for my purposes...

so I'm pretty much moved into my house... unfortunately I've only done this in time to get ready to pack up my stuff and move to Orlando (California didn't pan out). Oh well... better late than never...

the marijuana story...

first to berserk- I'm kind of surprised I brought this up too... true to form though, no one knew about it but you and chaelomen...

okay so I guess it was about 4 months ago now, some friends from work were all getting together for a goodbye party for one of the Hostesses who was moving that week. The girl throwing the party, Megan, was in a pretty bad relationship. Very Abusive guy, alcoholic- the works. So I got there and Megan was already pretty drunk when Joe came in. (Joe being her boyfriend) Joe was clearly pissed off about something, apparently he had threatened to beat Megan up right before I had gotten there if she didn't give him his car keys. He was plastered-- had absolutely no right to be driving. Megan didn't give him the keys, but he kind of ripped them out of her hand. Right after I got there he stole her car and totaled it in the parking lot right next to their apartment. He drove the car home and came inside the apartment and went to bed. A few minutes later the cops showed up. Someone had called in the accident and they came over to find out whose car was totaled and to find out who was driving. Once the cops came Megan, Audra (the girl who was moving) and I all stayed outside pretty much the rest of the night. Megan b/c it was her house, and me and Audra b/c we were the only ones who were sober.

which brings me to the marijuana...

While all of us were in the front yard talking to the cops, directly up wind of us was one of the hosts smoking marijuana. The cop pretended not to notice... but it was pretty obvious... One of the bartenders went outside to get the who was smoking to come inside so the smell wouldn't be so obvious. When the cops left Megan, Audra and I all went back inside and tried to calm Megan down a bit. I got a bit of second-hand smoke off of the guy who was smoking and the next morning I took a shower but couldn't get the smell out of my hair, but even worse no matter how much I brushed my teeth I couldn't get the taste out, and every time I coughed (or breathed) it'd come back full-force.... yep... I went to church like this... the bishop had a chat with me... when I told him what actually happened he just laughed and told me to let him know if Megan needed any help... good times...

I don't think I ever did this so here it goes!

1. What were you doing 10 years ago?
10 years ago I would have been 10... I would have been in fifth grade? Forth Grade? meh... I was probably hanging out with Meagan and Alicia (the bride)

2. Five things on my "To Do List" today:
1. exercise 2. pack to go home 3. go get some lab work done 4. go to a doc. appt. 5. buy t-shirts for Relay for Life

3. Snacks I enjoy:
Ice cream, chips and salsa,

4. What would I do if suddenly I was a billionaire?
quit chilis, move to the New England area

5. Three bad habits: I swear a lot... I slouch.... I bite my nails

6. Five places I've lived:
Sandy, Thornton, Greeley, Florida.... different house in Greeley

7. Five jobs I've had:
1- some pet care thing Caroyln and I did together. 2- babysitter. 3- random computer work for Faulkner 4- Disney 5- Chilis

8. Five things that MOST people don't know about me:
1- I have been so high from paint fumes and anxiety medication that I don't remember anything about the weekend I painted my house except 3 things: I ate an entire batch of brownie batter while sitting on my kitchen floor, I went out to dinner with my roommates and for some reason thought it was a good idea to follow our waiter around when we needed his help (don't worry-- we tipped good.... really good...), and lastly-- the next day at church I felt it was a good idea to bear my testimony. I don't remember a single thing I said, but I'm told it was hilarious. I haven't taken my anxiety meds since.
2- I fell asleep during the ACTs... and still got a 22
3- I always think I'm going to get fired from my job
4- I tried to join the Army and was turned away b/c of my asthma
5- okay- there's a very long story that goes along with this one, and I can tell it later, but I don't feel like it right now... seeing as how it's 2:30 in the morning..... I one time had to go have a talk with the bishop because I went to church smelling... nay wreaking of marijuana. Because of this and no. 1 some people at church think I'm a drug addict... I am not for the record...

Tag 5 People: everyone was already tagged I think.... but I don't think Chaelomen did it, so Chaelomen and Levi (one day I will get levi to do one of these). Audrey if she reads this too (bet that sounds weird to whoever doesn't know there are 2 audreys)
